Stop Motion here:
Enter the peculiar sodium-lit world of suburbia. Here we hang out our washing in the shadow of a power station, become routinely drunk on ragwort and are badgered by an unknowable cold caller.
"....the resulting soundscapes become alien lounge compositions for extra-terrestrial jet settlers.() Building something both futuristic and other-worldly. It's something completely foreign to our dimensional realm.() Lower the needle and astral project to a planet you never imagined."
Chuck Foster-The Big Takeover Magazine
"Commonly found lurching around labels like More Than Human and Exotic Pylon, Time Attendant is a dab hand at fusing disparate sound sources into a disorientating audio mulch as loaded with nutrients as it is messy. New album Ruby Modifier comes in highly limited quantities on Ancient Neighbour, packaging errant excursions through synth strokes and found sounds in a glorious high-res sleeve."
"....like some smoking party happened upon on a nightly basis when the local electrical shop clears of the pesky humans and under the glow of the fire exit signages, all manner of consumerist electricals come tumbling out of boxes for a meet, greet and no doubt note swapping update on the latest bid for world domination. All sounds very remote, eerily playful and a tad Cabaret Voltaire-y...."
The Sunday Experience
"Time Attendant transmits again from the haunted clattering junkshop where his music is presumably created. More analogue electronics from the edge of absurdity. Kids tv themes mashed into bubbling test tube sonics, video game intro tunes corroded by caustic fumes. Confused voices drifting into and out of the scene, perplexed at their inclusion. The tunes here are slightly more concise and focussed than previous releases from Paul Snowdon, but the exploratory process and sharp unexpected tangents remain."
